Sort of. 
Last week, when I was voting, I noticed that there was a position open for the Upper Willamette Soil and Water Conservation Board (as a director for zone 2, whatever that means!) Anyway, there was no official candidate that filed for the position so I figured why not start a write-in campaign just with friends and acquanitances of mine and we’ll see what happens. If you know me and have yet to vote (in Eugene), vote for me!
So yeah, I could be an elected official November 5th. The system is truly fascinating sometimes.
